Haitian Women Empowerment Gala
Katia was killin' the electric slide
It was a very informative and eye opening gala about the people and women of Haiti. The founder who hosted the gala visited Haiti told us during her visit she visited some homes( tents) and even though they weren't living under the best conditions, they made sure she was okay and comfortable. I love my humbling Haitian people. University of Miami Law program are also trying to give a hand in trying to stop deportation back to Haiti because people are dying in the cells their being held in. Many city officials were in attendance supporting.
